Office Manager

Location: Danbury, CT

Upscale home furnishings company is looking for the right candidate to join the team at our Danbury, CT location.

Qualifications

  • Possess basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and is detail oriented.
  • Experience in accounting is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi task and to follow instructions from upper management.
  • Ideal candidate will work well under pressure.
  • Must be professional and have good job stability.
  • Operates independently and works on own initiative.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within the home furnishings/and or related industry preferred but not required. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Working independently within a team-oriented environment.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
  • Entering transfers.
  • Handling customer’s inquiries and complaints as needed.
  • Tagging furniture on sales floor and ensuring accurate merchant information.
  • Communicating on a daily basis with the warehouse department to ensure effective delivery operations.
  • Data entry, customer service, contact vendors, and accounting
  • Planning and delegating responsibilities to store employees. 

 

Compensation:

  • Dependent upon experience
  • Full-time position (weekends required)
